The Publishing Triangle is thrilled to continue our new monthly LGBTQ+ Reading Series, OUTspoken, on Saturday, December 2. OUTspoken was presented last June as a joint program with the East Midtown Partnership as part of that organization’s Pride celebration, but it is now held monthly at the Bureau of General Services – Queer Division, the not-for-profit Manhattan bookseller located within the LGBTQ Community Center at 208 West 13th Street, Room 210. (And they’re fully accessible to those with mobility concerns.)

Join us at 3:00 PM EDT on Saturday, December 2 for this very special panel discussion, Writing About, With, and Through AIDS, in honor of World AIDS Day. Our special guests will include:

Charles Rice-Gonzalez

Gerard Cabrera

Philip Clark

Reginald Harris

Steven Riel

By working with the Bureau of General Services – Queer Division, we are able to make OUTspoken more than a New York City literary event. We expect many people to attend in-person, and many writers to read in-person, but this series will also be open to everyone in the world (audience and writers alike) with an Internet connection.

Come by the Bureau to meet the authors or join remotely to hear some of the best queer literature being written today. Visit the Bureau’s website for more information and access to their YouTube channel for remote viewing.
