The 32nd annual Triangle Awards ceremony, announced recently to take place on April 30, has been canceled. Because of the evolving nature of the coronavirus crisis, our co-sponsor, the New School, has decided to cancel all events through the end of this spring semester.

In addition, the finalists’ reading planned for the evening of April 29 at the Bureau of General Services–Queer Division bookstore inside the LGBT Community Services Center in Manhattan has also been canceled.

The winners of the Triangle Awards will be announced as planned on April 30 on this Publishing Triangle website. An event to celebrate the winners in the fall will be announced at a later date. We apologize for this change in plans to our friends, to our nominees, and to our three special award winners—Eileen Myles; Oliver Baez Bendorf; and the documentary film In Her Words—but it seems the wisest decision to make right now. We encourage you to read all the great finalists in the meantime!
